blahblahblahblah
Mini painting is coming along nicely. We’re going to learn basing tonight, then I’ll photograph my results and put them up. Painting minis is just what I need to work my way out of my current art slump.
However I need a bit more than that if I’m going to start next semester off well, especially in sequential art and Lithography. I’m just a bit short on ideas… and sadly my reading has slowed down a bit recently as I favor a new hack-and-slash PSP game I picked up.
Arisia is this upcoming weekend. Sadly the chair wouldn’t let us in for free for being a school group with connections to Dave Seeley… but fortunately I only had to pay the student rate of $25. A lot of stuff happened last minute and ended up being a bit stressful. Hopefully the preliminary hassles are not foreshadowing of a drama-con. I’m going to bring a small box with my best minis in it to show off and ask for advice. There’s a mini-painting session as well, so I hope to pick up some more tips.
So far my outlook on 2009 is a bit bleak…
