Post the First

Well, I have decided to start blogging again, though this time, I am going with a slightly more “Grown-up” platform, so to speak.

I discovered WordPress when db0 created the Antichristian Phenomenon page.  I prefer it to Xanga, which is where my old blogs lay in ruins.  I suppose I have outgrown Xanga, which seems to me to be a more social-based site, but I have not outgrown blogging.  However, a large difference between the old blogs and this one will be purpose.  I no longer blog socially, to share things with friends and participate in the blog-popularity contest.  This blog is strictly for the purpose of me, collecting my thoughts and organizing them in a relatively comprehensible manner.  Through it I will practice the art of writing, but whether anyone reads these words or not, I don’t much care.

There are a few things I need to work though on this site.  I’d like my last.fm widget to be shown, but it appears that my old Xanga one is all that will show up?  I will mess with the code a little bit, later.  I do find it amusing that I technically have two WordPress accounts, one by the name of “Anath” and “anath”.  Perhaps someday I will merge the two, but not today.

Its about time for work, and I have a bit of reading to do beforehand.
